Training in York

Hi, I'm going along to a BAGSD training club in York next week, have a look and see what the set up is. With Zee

The lady I spoke to sounded nice. Zee has done a basic gundog course previously, but is a BAGSD club more formal? There's 10-16 dogs and several trainers apparently. Wondering what to expect, in general

Who's the head trainer? I don't think you'd have to worry about a BAGS club being formal.

Also, if you live up north, come to the Sheffield Schutzhund Club Trial on the 26th!

Hi Ash I've no idea who head trainer is, just spoke to lady on the phone. She asked about lines etc. It's just with Zee being from working lines sire, and very 'wick' as we say up here, I was looking into doing some agility with her. She's the one on the right in my avatar. Was told to wait 3 months after her spay, which was March, before she can do jumping... (she's been jumping on straw bales, and over pony jumps though!)

Sheffield's about an hour and half away from me, so that Schutzhund trial might well be a possibility!

Here's the link to the Sheffield Contacts Page I've never actually been to the club so I don't know what its like but Dads doing his Schutzhund 3 with Kai which should be fun to watch anyway.

Its says on there to contact the head trainer if you fancy coming to watch them training but normally anyone and everyone turns up to watch trials anyway.

They're doing tracking on the saturday and everything else on the sunday so unless you're a mad tracking nut I might just go for the sunday.

I'm only there for the sunday because I'm off rally car racing in Yeoville on the saturday
