I really enjoyed watching that, thanks Ash.

I used to do obedience with Max but he never did like the stay bit, far too much of a baby to be more than ten paces away from me. The first time we tried it he dragged the guy who was holding him across the room to get back to me.

We had a tiny problem when we started training for Schutzhund 3 going from the walking stand in motion to the running stand in motion. Like Max Kai wanted to be running alongside dad.

We managed to sort it out no problem I love the running stand on this video I think its my favourite bit. Almost poetically beautiful.

...I'm very biased cuz its me dad...

I thought it was fantastic Ash to watch the intense concentration of Kai on your dad was awesome.

You have a lot to be proud of.

Great video..thanks for the posting.

I have an interest in Schutzhund, so any posting is welcome.

Do you have open visitor days, with/without your own dog?

Bazz

Sorry we don't do open visitor days at the moment its something I'll enquire about with Mom (the boss) because I'd like to do that sort of thing but they'll probably be too busy to do it...

If you've definitely decided you want to start training in Schutzhund but want to learn the ropes and start your dog off with a really good foundation one-to-ones with us are ideal because the way dad trains is unique and in my opinion definitely indicative of the way most people will be training in the future of dog sport (it will definitely be different to anything else you've experienced or anything else on offer anywhere in the country).

If you just want to see what schutzhund is like/get a taster you'd be better off contacting your local schutzhund club and checking them out to see what goes on.

I'll let you know what the boss says about it tomorrow morning anyway thanks for the idea!

Ash.

Tell you what Bazz, best thing to do would be to contact Lorraine via email or phone (Here is our contacts page) as she deals with new people coming into the sport all the time being a club secretary and will be able to tell you exactly what we do at the Training Centre.

Hope that helps.

Ash.
