Dog Clubs in Worcester/Malvern Area

Been trying to find somewhere to start a new Schutzhund Club in the Worcester/Malvern Area.

Long shot but does anyone know/go to any existing agility or obedience (for example) dog clubs in this area with a field that they might wish to part rent out for one or two days a week?

Ash.

I hope you find somewhere - there is nothing in the Gloucestershire area - I have to travel to B'ham and its not always easy to do.

If you want to share costs the dog trainer and behavourist I use (one to one basis) is also looking for a place.

That's a good idea! See in Belgium and Germany they will have one dog club facility that's shared between different groups so friday might be the agility group and Saturday might be the schutzhund but they all share the rent.

I have actually found a potential place in bishops frome that used to be a cricket club with a field and club house that has basically been abandoned and my partner clare is going to the village council meeting tonight to see if we can rent/use it.

The more groups we could get to share the facility the better!

Will let you know how it goes.

Southern Counties Schutzhund Club is in Kent and is run by Henriette Bohnstedt who we consider to be one of the best schutzhund trainers in the country so you're not in bad company down there!

One of our pups was sold to a trainer in scotland.

I've got a picture of her up there with her new owner.

Don't know where she trains though....

Don't know much about BAGS other than they aren't particularly geared towards schutzhund apart from a select few.

We are GSDL members and the two closest GSDL Schutzhund clubs to you are Sheffield and White Rose (Keighley, West Yorkshire).

Are you thinking of coming over to the Gloucestershire area - there is a definite need for a training facility.

My trainer is still looking for premises/fields etc.

Do you have open days at your training facility Ash? I would love to come and see
