Doggy Boot Camp/Residential Training Courses

I quite like the idea of attending one of these - not the type where you leave your dog, but where you stay too.

I have been looking on the internet but there seem to be very few places that offer this. I have found several where the dog stays and is trained and you then pick the dog up after a week or so but I would much rather be involved and trained too

I am looking for a course which includes obedience training, socialising etc but also includes various workshops where you also have the opportunity of trying out tracking, agility, flyball etc.

Just wondered if anyone has attended such a course or know of/could recommend one?

Try searching for 'dog activity holidays' or 'dog training holidays'.

This is just one directory I found:

Directory of dog training courses and holidays

Hey! We're going to do it here!

We've got a cow shed that we're converting into a guest house for people to come and stay and train their dogs. We already do the residential and one-to-one training just doing the last finishing touches on the indoor training area (for when the weather is blegh) and guesthouse.

If you're interested get in contact with Lorraine (otherwise known as 'mom' or 'boss') and let her know so I've got a legitimate reason to push that side of the business as it seems lots of you would love to do it!

Email her at lorrainefoster@me.com or phone her on 07973320413.

If you haven't already seen our website and what we do its www.vislor.com theres lots of information and videos available.

We live in the middle of Hereford so theres lots of touristy stuff to see and do around us like the black and white village trail, Mappa Mundi, Cider Tasting etc. etc.
