I think it's important for kids to interact with dogs and do training such as the above.

My niece who is 2 loves telling the dogs to sit and down to get a treat.

My oldest nephew thought it was amazing all the things Zara could do, I think he assumed all dogs could do that until he tried it with another dog. lol

I was watching the video... and when the litter girl said "come" Maisy my mums westie stopped chomping on her bone and came running over and she sat in front of me when the little girl said "sit" lol
She is the westie I do OB with.

Hi Anni yes some progress - still barking at any child or dog that dares pass the gate but definitely improvement. Just wish we could get her around more dogs more often for off lead play, she only meets dogs at training and always on lead. Still pulls at any dog we pass on the lead.

Next test is St Andrews beach in October - she will love it but will chase anything ie kids, birds, dogs... so will have long lead and every treat imaginable and my revolving head on checking for anything chasable that isnt mine!!

It's great to see the confidence that the young lady has, I think they are growing well together and will be inseperable, if not already

Brilliant!
It is great to see kids involved in training dogs and will help with your daughter's confidence with dogs as she grows up. Well done all x

That really is great, Children are as big a part of our dogs lives as anyone else, and they need to know just as much as the rest of us, and be able to control the dog well, so well done,.. nice video
