Gencon headcollar

Just wondered if anyone has tried this, Sam is really good at loose lead walking unless there is another dog around then he pulls, flips, howls you name it he does it I was considering putting the headcollar on him but only clipping the lead to it when there is another dog there (forcing him to walk nicely) then putting the lead back on his normal collar when the distraction is gone.

I have the gencon all-in-one, which I have been taking with me, but I've discovered that fitting it correctly when he's in full flip mode is almost impossible... Obviously what I'd like to ultimately acheive is nice walking all the time on a conventional lead.

Do you think this would work? or is it better to persevere with his normal collar and lead?

jesterjenn has a spectacular aura about
Why not get one with a clip at the other end that can stay clipped to his collar, so when there isn't any dog, you can collar walk him (change your hand position), and when there's a dog, you can have it on and ready.

Or get just the headcollar, and get a double ended lead and attach one to the headcollar and one to the collar?

I have just bought the all in one with clip to collar for Lola, I chose the one with clip for added security, she is walking really nicely on it although she is only 13 weeks. I was a bit unsure whether she was too young for it but the woman e mailed me to say 12 weeks is a good time, mind you she already tries to get it off now so I think if I left it any longer she would be worse

I have found the Gencon to be the best and easiest head collar to buy, and fully recomend it
