A friend of mine took her dog to an intensive training course she bought it with a coupon from groupon . I think she said it was 3 days long. Her dog was about 8 months old and was really wild. It definitely improved his behavior and he is more obedient but he's still so young and still a bit of a handful sometimes. I think it's just a matter of him growing out of his puppy phase.
I think an intensive course is definitely worth a try, but I think it's probably better to go through a training program that is recommended by someone you know or someone who has used it and seen results, rather than a random one you find online.

Ash, is the name of the person who represents Vislor on this forum,... just look up Vislor in the search,..[ if he isnt already posting, or reading this ] and maybe have a look at Vislor`s web site,.... very well recommended
You will see at first hand that Vislor is involved with the sport of Schuzhund,... but if you look closer you will see that they also train other dogs, and deal with most things training wise

Ah, yes, I have watched some of the training clips and visited their website. They look amazing and I wish they were closer. Would even consider taking a holiday in the area and bringing Indie along for a residential, but I think for now we will keep going with our own attempt at training , and she how she gets on. She is only just 7 months, .
