LOVEGSD is just really niceLOVEGSD is just really nice
Sounds like a really interesting course.....

I would say nature is the breeding of the dog and nuture is the environment they are raised it.....

Willo is on a distinguished road
I would class Nature as the biological side to the picture and Nurture the environmental side.

Biological things in terms of hereditry factors, genetic makeup, predispostion etc. These are things that cannot be changed with the exception of medical intervention e.g medication.

Environmental being the care recieved, how effectively needs are being met, as well as the more literal environment in which they live and are exposed to. Their experiences are also environmental factors; positive, negative, consistant, inconsistant. The same event may have a different interpretation dependant upon past experiences hence why the police will take a statement from everyone at an accident scene - the perceptual differences can be quite staggering from the same event.

What course/college is it? Wouldn't mind doing that course myself :-)

i define nature as something that is as it is due to nurture or lack of it....also

pure
unique
undefiled
unable to be created by man

nurture...

enveloping with love and empathy
having warm natural affection for something that relies on human intervention.

I have always thought of nature as genetic conditioning/predisposition coming from the indiviual/creature themselves whereas nurture is the influence from an outside source whether it be environment or other individuals.

I must admit I find the subject fascinating not just with dogs but humans too.

in relation to dog psychological functioning I would describe nature as the genetics behind temperment ie in the GSD it is deemed 50% is genetic
nuture I would refer to the environment/raising from the moment the dog is born things that may influence the temp whether that be from the dam or from social interaction with sibblings, humans and such things as noise, smells etc
