A little help please.

Need a little help with the next training course, we passed on the basic training but in all honesty as good as the trainer was, it was stuff i could have done at home and the certificate was something i could have printed off myself :/

So i want to continue training but at a higher level and after reading and seeing a thread on the good citizen dog scheme, i'v come across a place in Chesterfield:

People and Dogs - Courses and other Services

Might be a long shot as i know people on here are all over the country but there are so many con-artists and money grabbers on the web i just wanted to gain some advice on the best routes to go down to make sure i get a ''good'' training school.

Check to make sure that they are registered with the KC. If they are, then they will have to have had a minimum set of qualifications in dog training.

As to whether they are good at implementing those qualifications, well that's something only experience can tell you.

Could you contact them & ask for references from people who have used them? Or maybe ask to go along & watch for a couple of classes so you can see what's happening?

If they're any good they'll happily agree to at least one of the above!

Ah yeah I can't see why I couldn't. Attending the class before hand is a very good idea! Thanks Caryll
