DelsMum has a spectacular aura about
I was thinking about this thread earlier and I remember having a conversation with my trainer about behaviour interuptors and him laughing at people who recommend spraying water in GSDs faces as he has never met a GSD that didn't like water and over time they often think its a game. Kind of like 'get the hosepie' lol

OMG! I am so shocked! And amazed that the class is still going! The trainer sounds horrible, what an awful experience for you and Sam.

I'm having the same issue with Isla - barking at other dogs, and sometimes people too. I've just started teaching her 'speak' so that hopefully she'll become less barky if the command isnt given. We are working on 'quiet' too.

I also do the 'watch me' thing in a sit if there is another dog or a person passing and she seems to be getting better at this.

I hope things improve for you. x

The class you have been attending and the trainer sound awful. I would definitely be looking at changing trainers. Perhaps contact a couple of others (if you have some in your area) and pop along on your own, without your dog, just to see how the class is run and see if it appeals to you.

I haven't heard great things about Dogmore tbh
