I think that statements quite right.. too far maybe tooooooooo soon.
although today I decided to pretend I couldnt speak at all.. no I didnt even mutter to myself.. I just went for the full silence thing, reminded me of having a partner

Seriously Ive told myself I cant speak and the only way im allowed to interact with Fritz is body language & facial gestures.. omg im learning even more and Fritz is the teacher..

I found that even during a game of tug, when things were quite vocal with Fritz.. definate tail wag.. I just dropped the other end of his toys stood and folded my arms as if I was annoyed with someone and being rather sarcastic and exagerated the gesture..


He came to me sat at my feet then dropped the toy!!! Ive tried different associations also in different parts of the house and it appears like things are happening.. earlier today he pulled the pull-cord for the shower I wasnt amused..

then Ive to take into account whether fritz even wants to play / train..

I must say thos ive tried a few ways to resolve him not dropping the ball..

does this sound ok?????????

If I just call fritz whilst he has the ball in his mouth.. and when he returns just stroke him etc etc not making any move towards the ball at all.. when he comes to me give a treat and i dont do anything at all with the ball..im not sure whether its because he doesnt want the game to end.. or whether he does/doesnt want me to play with the ball with him...

This silence game is something I play a lot with my three, I have always thought it quite a good thing, it gets them really looking at you,.. and you do tend to learn a lot from them too.
What is most supprising is the fact that we can talk to them without sound, and they understand more than you might think,... try talking with your eyes,. lol great fun
