She's got you sussed good and proper, my mum started this with my brothers dog, he would go out and force himself to do something to get a treat.
But I would say make sure it's not just her being clever and she does not have a touch of cystitis x

what are the symptoms of cystitis??

same as in humans?

im alternating treats/food and verbal praise strokes but she is still peeing loads. ive been watching her closely today. she goes very frequantly (twice an hour while awake or straight after a nap which is usually no more that 1 hour). she is definalty peeing, yeterday i thought she could be just squatting and faking it but with the frost its been alot easy to moniter today, but its only a dribble. she sometimes squats low and sometimes a bit high like her back is arched. doesnt seem in pain and is drinking normally.

also if it is that whats the cure?? best to ring vets? or can you buy something in pet shop. worried im turning into a dog hypercondriac!

Cystitis in dogs has same symptoms as humans except they cant scream when they pee!!

I would be surprised if its anything other than her "playing" but if your worried you will need to get a sample to take to the vets.

Everyone is a doggie hypocondriac at first, dont worry about it. That only stops after a few visits to the vets when you think they are at deaths door but when you get to the vets they are jumping 4ft of the floor!!!

Ha, I like it a dog hypercondriac, try get a sample of her pee, this should be fun it's easier said than done esp with puppies, photos please lol,it will rule infection out..if infection a course of antibiotics will do the trick...
