Oohh!! I have never heard of this I'm going to give it a try as Diesel has not got a good stomach and every treat I give him tends to give him a bit of the runs!

Please bear in mind if Diesel has a bad tum that liver loosens stools.

Thank you - I will keep that in mind but I will try it - its got to be better for him than any of the shop bought stuff but any further ideas I will be gratefull for.

You could swap the liver for fish. Much more delicate on the tummy.

You might get away with the liver as one of mine has a dicky tummy, now and again, but the liver cake doesn't seem to bother her.

I sometimes use sardines/pilchards instead of the liver and they love them as well
