Ringcraft... Please help !

Hi all Im new on here and was just wondering if anybody knows of a GSD ringcraft class anywhere near Romford or within 30min drive away. Our Female GSD is now 4 1/2 months old and we really want to show her.

We were going to a mixed class but it was more of a social club so wasnt worth the hastle.

Thanks in advance x

Was it this club you took your pup to for ringcraft? - Welcome to SWECA *****NEW SHOW VENUE*****

If you want GSD specific ringcraft classes, you could try looking for your nearest BAGSD, they usually hold ringcraft classes as well as obedience (and you'd probably want to do both!) - The British Association for German Shepherd Dogs

Hiya thanks for the info we went to one in Romford cant remember what it is called now tho. We already take her to obedience on a thursday at BAGSD in upminster but they dont really know of any breed specific classes for ringcraft. We did find another one with a lady called Sheila Rankin but that wont start until the summer due to the weather and they need an outside space first, but really wanted to get into one asap as she is now 4 1/2 months x

Google came up with 2 ringcraft clubs near Brentwood, Barking Canine Club (Bulphan Village Hall, Mondays @ 8pm) and Romford & District (Navestock Village Hall, Thursdays @ 8pm). Either of these may be helpful, dont know if they are GSD specific tho.

Or, i also found :

British Dog Training, Romford, Essex, Contact Tom on 07931 119 874. ...... Over 27 years hands on training of gsd's with results. ...... We also offer courses in Competitive Obedience, Ringcraft, Heelwork to Music and Agility ..

Good luck

she is from German lines. Some of the dogs in her pedigree are VA1 Pakros d' Ulmental, V Carlos von der Sudheimer Linde, 2X VA1 Larus von Batu, V1 Gerti vom Blumenkamp

Not sure if there is a specific name for her lines tho

The breeder gave us a list of lots of GSD clubs and info, but so far can not come up with any classes near me, unless we went for 1 2 1 classes but they worked out at £45 per lesson which lasts 45mins

Thanks a lot for the info Tom only does obedience but I have emailed Barking club which is not breed specific but they do 1 2 1 tuition. Anything else I may be able to teach her myself.

Thanks for the info x
