Dog Scootering

Is there anyone out there who does `Dog Scootering`,.. sometimes known as`Dry land Mushing`,... I have been getting Kee and Sam used to this for a while now, we can get an average of 21 mph for about three miles,.. but I also do longer distances at a more relaxed pace.

Its a great way to excercise the dogs, and most dogs love to run

This is the Scooter,.. made for me from an old mountain bike, it looks just like the models that cost about £250-£350, its light weight and fun, a Scooter is better than a bike as it is a lot lighter, and if we meet a hill thats a bit steep, I either `scooter` just like kids do, or run alongside untill we reach the top,..and off we go again

...and the harnesses made for me by a guy in Edinburgh,.. via Ebay

Sorry about the photo quality,.. but they were taken from the back of a moving car...

Stuart, that looks like so much fun both for rider and dogs!

I run with Remus and bike with him, not Zee yet as she's too young, but I'd love to try that.

This is near me...

The dogs and Scooters

I'm going to book a session and see how it goes... Plus it's an excuse to pet the huskies

Arrrh, you dont need hills or mountains, just a track or bridleway,... just find somewhere quiet untill the dogs have got the idea

Wow looks really good to do with your dogs, if only I lived near you. Love the photos by the way.
