Caryll is a jewel in the rough
Dempsey was a bit like that for about 4 or 5 months. Every time I got up in the morning he would have an 'episode' as my daughter put it & yes, it would takes ages to go away. We found the best way was to get him to lie down so he could lick it - yuk! - & it seemed to go a little quicker. Now Dempsey's 19 months old, and for the last 6 weeks or so it's only happened a couple of times, so I think he's 'growing out of it'!!

I've found castration helps definitely, doesn't prevent an 'episode' as Caryll daintily puts it but certainly helps

Boris was castrated at about 11 months + no probs with him until Tilly came into season

Now no problems at all
