bowl throwing

well Marley is still throwing his bowl and hubby has come up with an idea that they used in the forces when he had a bowl thrower.
they used a breeze block and hollowed out enough of it to sink the bowl in so that the dog couldn't get it out and it workrd.
we are going to fill an old smallish washup bowl with cement and sink the bowl in enough so he cannot get it out.we still may only be able to put shallow amounts in as he scoops it out but atleast it may prevent him from throwing it everywhere.
we will do this this weekend so i will poet with the results next week!

Nice feeder Anni. Can I borrow your friend 'cause I want a feeder like yours.

My husband likes a challenge (he married me) so I will show it to him and see if he thinks that he can make one similar, but not exactly the same.

Your friend should start a business making feeders if they haven't already.

we have a raised feeder but this lil devil gets his teeth between the bowl and the ring so we are thinking to sink it into something so he can't do it.
we have to bungy the frame the the wall and have small bungees to hold the bowl down bet today he has worked out to nudge it with his nose and they spring off and hey presto he can get it out again.so i thought today that hubby could drill a hole in each bowl so the bungee can hook into it and hold the bowl there.
also if he can't get the bowl out he scoops the water out!!!!!!

It's made from mdf, woodstained and varnished. I said he should go into business making them... he's very handy at that sort of thing, he built the dogs' outdoor kennel and run too. Him and his wife are lovely and Shepherd mad too!
