Sams vets has recommended he use's it, i was wondering if anyone else uses it? hes been on it two days and he already seems very relaxed... almost to the point im expecting him to say "get off my cloud man" while requesting a bob marley song!

This didnt work well for me, I lost my dog, she wasnt who she was supposed to be if this makes sense, I wanted her to be less afraid, and not drugged up lol,
Anyway I used skullcap and valerian pills daily, but used valerian compound when i needed to take her to the vets etc, as an extra calmer, workes brill i found xx

one to help calm him in everyday situations, because of the problems we have been having, and two because we think his tail issue is a mental thing, like its become a habit or a reflex. So the vet popped him on this stuff... which i must say works bloody well!

superd, when you said lost your dog i though for a split second it died! i almost fell off the sofa! i know what your saying tho, cuz sams so relaxed its unreal. i also used scull cap, but found it had no effect.

I am so sorry I didnt mean it in that sense, she is a border collie, known to be bouncy and hyper, which is something i never minded, but on that she wasnt anything like a BC, she was zonked out alot, and not like a BC at all, What i wanted was somethng to just take the edge off so I could train her that the world isnt such a scary place.
Outside now she is pretty good, also going to the vets she is doing ok, we just have inside the house to deal with now, she still doesnt like ppl on her territory and forgets that they arnt all scary

PS takes 2-4 weeks to kick in effectively xx

I know of quite a few people who have used it on their hounds with a positive result and only a handful who saw no difference.

If you think that he is too 'out of it' then you could reduce his dose slightly.

I was very sceptical over the skullcap as libby was soooo psycho, but i found them really great with her, just took the edge off enough to work with her xx
