**Breakthrough!**

I have always found that i am at the bottom of the pack! even though i take rowdy on the nicest walks (partner only takes him round streets at night, unless i pester him at times to come for long walk through fields and water!) buy nice toys/treats and feed him, etc.

i find hard to take him for a lead walk as he pulls me no end, even when stopping and walking backwards several times in a minute till he comes back to heel! ( although he does automatically stop when we reach a curb to cross the road )i bought a halti and harness not used at the same time i might add! and he generally got a lot better with the harness!

any way... i have just got back from a 30 min walk with him WITH JUST A PADDED COLLAR!!! and i must say he did VERY well! he still pulled but nowhere as near as much as he used to with just the collar!

Im very proud of him (and me!) and now his tucking into a nice big crunchy carrot! his favourite treat

It's such a great feeling when you enjoy a good walk, I find it gives you the confidence for the next one.
