Can't turn my back for 2 mins...

Today, I have ignored Blitz for all of 20 minutes to make a cake for the Mother in Laws bday tomorrow... he was lovely and quiet... no wonder.

He has ripped a hole in the kitchen floor, eaten all of the mail we got this morning off the doormat and the doormat the mail was on!!

Oh happy days, he can now look forward to another 20 minutes of silence from me (if I can be mean for that long)

Bad puppy! I am sure I get away with more with less damage when watching my friends 1, 3 and 6 year olds!!!

What damage have you guys had while your back has been turned?

Lucy and a very Naughty Blitz!!

Dempsey has eaten anything & everything! Especially bras. He has a passion for bras.

Plus the tv remote, several shoes, wires (!), table & chair legs, rugs, bedding (his own as well as ours), cushions (he does other things with cushions as well!), kitchen lino..............the list goes on!

Oh dear, naughty boy! Diesel thought the post was his nemesis so we had to put a box over it to stop him chewing it all up, I had to call the DVLA and ask them to re-send my tax renewal...

I always think a quiet puppy = mischief....LOL

Caryll - I did LOL at Dempsey's love of bras

Hahaha!! Thankfully Blitz doesn't do 'other things' with inanimate objects yet, although he does get very pleased sometime and likes to show us his bits to prove it!
He loves slippers, I am pleased he is leaving my bra's alone though!!
You have made me feel much better, although half way through this post I had to stop to stop him from ripping the tape up off the hole he has just made in the floor I'd just put down to stop the hole from growing!!

We have a box for the post as well - I doubt we'd get any of it otherwise! Dempsey will literally dig to the bottom of the dirty laundry basket to get to a bra!

nisbreagha has a spectacular aura about
I crate my puppies when they are young so i don't get this problem as I've learned from past experience of my late JRT Dora chewing the kitchen wall and the carpet. Even when i'm in the house now if i want a bit of peace to tidy up and they have had plenty of exercise mine still get crated so I can get things done without them getting in the way.

Trying to get Blitz into a crate = HELL! We crated him to go to the shops and could hear him howling from the snicket behind our house, he was still at it when we got home! Poor sod hates them x

I never crated Diesel and the only chewing we had was the post....it suits some and not others, so go with what you're comfy with

Bonnie hates LAMP SHADES!!! she has eaten 3 so far! apart from that she hasnt destroyed anything else of importance so have been very lucky

I thought about crating but to be honest it wasnt for me and to add to that I have nowhere to put one! I would hate a big crate hanging about looking unsightly too
