Terrible teens????

Zeussy has started his terrible teens I'm sure but isnt TOO bad yet !! Lol my question is every night since we rescued him on 30th dec Jon takes him for a walk last thing at night, however 3 times in the last fortnight he has point blank refused to go! He let's you put his halt on then runs to his bed and lies down and won't shift lol should we make him go or just take him when he wants to go?

Its unual, in that in my experience a dog allways wants to go for a walk,...I dont think I would worry too much, but it would always be in the back of my mind as to why???

keep a note of what might be happening outside on the nights that he doesnt want to go out,..is there something outside that he doesnt like? a certain noise maybe,..some dogs dont like rain too much

Dempsey does this, and I'm afraid I make him go! Aren't I cruel? If he doesn't go, then he wakes up in the night for a poo!

With Dempsey it's because he's tired, comfortable & basically lazy!

Bonnie started doing this in the morning with my son, he used to walk her everyday but broke his collar bone so couldn't walk her incase she pulled etc so it was only me walking her for about 3 wks 3x a day.... I think she wanted me to take her and not him because if I got the lead she would go no problem!!! We take the morning walk in turns now she she doesn't know who it's going to be

She also runs off when she see's the halti she hates it lol xx

Tilly is exactly the same, sometimes when we go to put her collar on she lays flat on the floor or puts her paw up as if to say 'nooooooooooooo'. Also she hates rain

We make her go though. Boris is up for a walk antime any weather
