urgent help needed.

i was walking with sash yesterday morning and we came across a woman with a schitsui. now normally sasha plays and is brill but yesterday she went for it scaring the little dog. Now today we met another woman again with a schitsui and weve met this woman beofre. i hadf sash on the lead and the woman said oh let her off weve met before. I told her what happened yeaterday and said she should be ok as theyve met. So i let sash off and she went for the Schitsui again. i was very appologetic etc and cant understand why shes doing this.
Normally shes a playfull dog. She a 14 month old bith but not been done yet.
Can anyone shed some light please cause sash has a good rep at the mo and dont want it tarnished. Goes with out saying shes staying on long lead for now.

Thanks in advance for any help and sorry bout the essay and spelling.

Is she maybe approaching her season? I would not panic too much as she may sense your fear and pick up on it! Continue doing what you have been doing up until now and don't keep her away from dogs just monitor situation and be ready to step in if she displays unwanted behaviour ! Could of just been an off day! If you let her say hello on lead would that be better then if she is showing the right behaviours let her off If not then you could lead her away with a correction! Some dogs meet better off lead if this is the case what about a long line left loose and then if anything happens you could lead her away! Not sure if this is of any help JMO and the way I would handle it! Goodluck!

Basically and IMO
do not allow this behaviour from Sash
Twice she has done this and this is now set in her head that she can continue this unacceptable behaviour, do not allow her the freedom off lead until she learns.
Instead favor a long line til she gets the message.
Once she thinks she can get away with anything she will continue.
You have to be stronger and take control

Forgot to add she is still young but maturing too
If it were me I wouldnt be thinking of having her spayed until her hormones are at the correct level and until a little older.
Hormones protect her and help her too in the fright flight scenario

I would agree with Linda, I would not be allowing her to bully like this. When Diesel went through his bullying stage (he'd been repeatedly attacked which made him react like this) we would ask people to walk him leaded ( a long line) with the other dog, let them settle and once he was ignoring the other dog then let him have more lead to roam with. I would say 'gently Deez' and praise for every single moment of good behaviour, if I wasn't happy then he was recalled and we'd walk away.

Thanks again linda.
You need to get the warnings in before and not by shouting at her, she will switch off!
Give her one firm warning in a growly voice just before

Thanks again linda.
The only thing I would say is watch closely and try and watch her body language, TRY and step in when the unwanted body language, behaviour begins . Timing can be crucial with a correction! That way you can prevent unwanted behaviours! Goodluck I hope it all settles down!

This was the same for Kaiser when he got attacked by a terrier
He could not flight either and was cornered.
I do exactly the same as Lynn and also what ive already suggested.
Fingers crossed ive acheived better behaviour from Kaiser and he knows I will protect him, so he doesnt feel he needs to himself
