Well, Rogue's skin condition has cleared up, still on the antibiotics for a couple of days but her skin has healed up lovely and no more scratching!
yay!!
Bandit is looking much better too, he's started sitting up which is a good sign, we're working on a bit of confidence now as he's still a bit sore and reluctant to put weight on his back left leg. Its been 2 weeks and 2 days since the accident, and its great to see him sitting up, even though every
'meeeeeoooowwwwww?' is starting to sound like...
'ssllaaaaaavvveeee????' 'Foooooooooood?'
I let him out of the crate today for a bit of a quiet cuddle, he's getting one every night and usually he just sits in my arms and rolls over but tonight he wanted a bit of a sniff about so i let him walk a few steps before he lay down beside me and accepted his fuss!
For the first time however, i've had Rogue in the room with us and she was the most gentle, attentive thing i've ever seeeeeen!!!
She gave him a sniff, groomed him a bit and just lay down beside him, laid her head around his back and just supported him when he had cuddles!!! It was gorgeous, considering they usually rough-house and play together, she soooo knows something is up!
it was lovely, and its nice to see her laid beside his crate now... she has her nursemaid face on!!!
