unwanted niggles

since me and my OH seperated 3 weeks ago,doglets are getting a bit out of line.nothing major but dont want complaints of neighbours.
bruja has always been possesive over me although i tried to stop it,so when i have to take merlin out,she has taken to sratching at doors and windows trying to get out to me.ok its not good for the doors or windows but she dont half make a noise doing it.ideas for remedy please.oh and i do shut curtains but to no avail.
now merlin has taken to barking at the slightest bump and bang,its not an aggressive bark but it does go on.not so bad if im here but getting to a point where i dont want to leave him cause of the noise hes making.again ideas.tried one of those ultrasonic bark deterrants you put on the wall but it dosent work.

Is it possible to walk them together?, maybe its something that could be trained/tried, other than that its a case of dealing with the seperation anxity, buy training,..when you are at home, try putting one dog in another room and leaving him there,..then the other dog, spend time with just one dog in rotation, so that hopfull, when you do go out with one dog the other is more settled

If you are home when it happens the best idea is certainly the `quiet` command,...as for when you are away, many things have been tried from leaving the radio on to tape recordings of your voice
