Tesco's

Skye and myself had a lovely morning today.
I dropped my car off at the garage in town and thought it a brilliant opportunity for her to see some more of the world on her own. (I felt awful leaving big lad behind but she is becoming very anxious when we separate them even when i'm only taking him to the car! She panics.)
Anywhooo we walked to the park and she played with some doggies, then to the vets for a random weight check (19.8kg (thumbs_up) then a lil stop at the pet shop where she met two fantastic looking bermese mountain dogs (a lil look of horror on her face when she saw two giants coming over to her but they were soft as muck!)
And then to tesco's..............
She was great when i left her outside, had only nipped in for some cigs and a drink for us both. Came back out to her, made her sit, told her to stay, fantastic job then as soon as the click of the lead came off BAM gone, straight into the store
I got a few disgusted looks but i could hear the staff laughing behind the counter! I'm quite relieved she's still young and we got away with it as a joke but oh my did my jaw drop!
I was laughing on our way to our next stop so thought i would share it with you guys
xx

It did make me laugh, but I agree with Audrey. There is NO WAY would I ever leave my dog unattended outside a shop. So many dogs are stolen when left outside shops.

I'll leave mine outside the village shop / post office sometimes - it's so local everyone knows they're mine. It does them good I think. I wouldn't leave them outside a supermarket though.

A friend of mine once left her GSD outside a supermarket. When she came out he wasn't tied up. Later a friend of hers who works at the store was telling her a funny story about a dog that wandered in the shop and then went back outside. Turns out it was her dog! Toby slipped his lead, wandered in then came back out and sat down where he was left!
