Brave Rugs!!
i'm a bit proud of Rogue at the mo!
Last night i was out for a few drinks, got home about 4am.
5am, there is some commotion outside and some kid decides to start booting at the front doors down my street.
Ours sprung, bust the lock... and Rogue goes CRACKERS but she didn't give chase until my partner went downstairs to see what was going on. She turned around, barked at him and took off down the bank.
i thiiiiiink my OH left it a weeee bit late to call her back or i think she would have had him, little toe rag!!
Still, she came sauntering back looking all proud of herself, did a lap of the house and came back in again!
We've never taught her that, that was pure instinct...
my brave girl!!!

I feel safe having Max in the house, especially if I'm on my own...she was just protecting her family and her home!
Good girl rugs! xx

Good girl!
I dread to think what would have happened if someone did that to my front door - I know Deez wouldn't have waited for a command!!!! He's bad enough when someone knocks at the door - although he will go to the dining room when I tell him but only after he has barked his most ferocious bark ever!!! When I eventually open the door the visitors are halfway back down the drive!!!

Love the guarding instinct about them, i remember when i was younger if i was out with dog and lbaby sister in pram if any man (known to her or overwise) came upto us sheena (the dog) would bark her head off at them till they left, she wasnt a barker usually was purely protection mode
weve been broken into a couple of times before we had frankie even while weve been in the house asleep, my oh works nights and even though we didnt get frankie for this reason she does make me feel alot safer when im in the house on my own, although at the minute i think she would just jump up and lick them if anyone tried to come in lol
welldone rogue love that he did a lap of the house, amazing
