pappy went for another dog today

pappy was playing with a heinz 57 breed doggie called pablo. hes like a fox hunting looking dog.but taller. pappy has known pablo since we first got him. sometimes you have to quickly move, because they would run into you.. well... as usual they was running around like lunatics.. and pablo caught my leg, it didnt hurt, but i didnt see it coming, and i just said oww.... and pappy... well... he ran growling towards me and pablo, stood right in between us, bearing all his teeth, and snapped towards pablo!!!!! but as quickly as pappy went like this..within seconds he was back to being normal pappy and running around with pablo like lunatics.
should i be worried about this?? pappy has never done anything like this before. hes usually very soft. pablo is a sweet little rescue, and wouldnt want pappy to hurt him

I wouldnt worry about this Vicky, these things happen, from time to time,... and anyway, its far too late now, any punisment needs to be done the second it happens or its wrong to do it at all,... but I wouldnt worry

I think it was just Pappy telling Pablo off. A storm in a teacup & nothing to worry about - over and done with.

Sounds like Pappy was just telling Pablo that he didn't like him making his mum yelp.....I wouldn't worry about it really.
