Fav's?

Favourite walking spots?

I love the high peak and tissinton trail we have on offer, virtually at our front door! The quick walk is 8miles and it then continues right from buxton to ashbourne which is approximately 30 miles! (not done that one yet )

The walk to Thor's cave of 14 miles did both me and the dog's in.

It is a relatively flat walk, with streams and fields galore.

So what do you have in your home-town?

xx

That sounds lovely, i love Buxton.

I am really quiet lucky where I live. Within 30 min I have numerous beaches, forest, woods, country parks and places to cycle with the dogs so in some ways I am spoilt for choice

we live in the town so if we walking we can go to the park which has a lovely big field, the small woods which has a stream and a field or the 6 conjoined fields a 2 min walk up the road. by car we have the moors and various other river walks a 5 min drive or the beaches about a 20 min drive so lots to choose from....

We are defo missing a beach here as i love spending a couple hours on there with them and the feeling is mutual! Whenever we go to Wales and they must smell it because they both howl with what must be excitement!

I love dog walking I especially like walks where I live (on a remote heather moorland with forest, fields and lakes), as well as beach and woodland walks (which are only between 20-30 mins drive).

By far my favourite place in the world though are parts of the NW Scottish Highlands

I love going to the huge park about 15min walk from us, it has rivers, woods and open spaces.....although you can't beat a beach walk.
