Rogue and the wind!
Well, after being blown clean off her feet (we live at the top of a hill!) i've found out that Rugs HATES the wind!!
you should have SEEN the look on her face when she came trotting back to me with her tail between her legs, looking around to see just what had knocked her over!!!
Frizbee doesn't work in this weather, either!!!
Anyone else braved walkies today yet???

I also live on the top of a hill (in Scotland) and nearly got blown away today! Here is the Reservoir in front of our cottage that is normally quite serene ... today it was more like a rough sea
I took the dogs for a long walk at lunchtime and got blown all over the place (it didn't bother my dogs at all though ), and hubby has had them out twice as well, but I am also feeling rough with flu-like symptoms, so will probably venture out once more before bed, and that is it for today.

Kirsty, I did think of you this morning, as I think that your area caught it worse than we did up here,... I have to admit, that we didnt go out today, I dont normaly shun from any weather, but when it comes to damaging winds, I want to be here, where I can put a rope to somthing, rather than have damage done

Thanks for thinking of us Stuart Hubby had to chain the trampoline to the fence as it was blowing away. I stayed in while he fed the cows/sheep and then he stayed in while I walked my dogs ... just in case of any damage. Luckily he had the foresight to move our pick-up away from the wall of the old house (where we keep our dog/sheep/hen food etc) as a few tiles flew off that and would have landed on it had it been in its usual place

It was wild this morning a few roof tiles off here and the ladders my hubby had strapped to the garage roof ended up in the lane next to our house, thankfully I noticed early on and he got them and roped them up to the fence!
That's wild looking resivour there but pretty impressive to see.
We ventured out at lunchtime to a nice wee hill that is pretty void of trees so little, threat of our head getting knocked off, and surprise surprise not another soul was met!
