I must admit that I actually like my mother and Father-in-law.Mind you,they live in France,do not speak a word of English apart from 'Okay',it takes about 8 hours to get to them by train not including change times and they are not well enough to travel over to the U.K.And we may only see them once a year for a couple of weeks.Jealous,huh?

Mind you,it's hell for babysitting..

Don't speak too soon Tone- my parents moved over here when they retired- my husband was the same as you for 15 years and now he's got his in-laws 5 mins down the road!
