I have officially met the dumbest guys in the world!
Evening all,
Thought i'd share my news... I win! I have met the dumbest guys in the world - no contest.  Jess occasionally barks at loitering people when its dark and we're out, stands still about 15ft away and barks until I reach her and lead her past. Not too unusual? I bought her a flashing collar clip thing earlier, like a red/blue/white strobe so I can see where she is in the field at night, Anyway she barked at 2 lads hanging around on the footbridge with her light flashing tonight... Who then asked if she was a police dog? Thinking they must mean the "type of police dog" I said yes mate , shes a German Shepherd. As we walked past his mate genuinely asked him "why are they fitting lights to em now then, Is it just when they're looking for someone?"

Would the siren have to have a yelping sound, you should have said that she was a undercover police dog.

Lol, that's very funny!
We were having fish and chips in the car with Murphy in the back once, and we were parked up by the river in Exeter. A group of young lads walked past and then shouted 'S**T! There's a police dog in that car - RUN!'. I don't know about you, but i've never seen police officers sit in a 1 litre vauxhall corsa eating fish and chips!

LOL....fab story. It never ceases to make me laugh how many people assume all GSD's are police dogs...

Oh my goodness this has really made me chuckle. My OH is a Police Officer so might make a suggestion to him about fitting them on the dogs at his station, lol. Hilarious!!!
