Norty!

Pups - they're a challenge! This morning while I was in my office upstairs I heard Remus and Zee playfighting downstairs. I go down to check on them and there's wood splinters all over the floor Seeing as Zee has already 'customised' a chair leg in the kitchen, I'm checking all the furniture wondering what she's destroyed. Turns out she's stolen a lump of kindling by the fire to demolish, phew!

So I let them play outside for a bit while I finish some work. I come down to the garden to discover one of hubby's shoes missing that he'd left outside the back door. Someone had dug a hole in the gravel border, and inside was the missing shoe! Hubby didn't think it was a funny as I did

Tedsmum will become famous soon enough
An old farmer once said to me when discussing his sheep dogs
"they never teach each other good behaviour".
Love the shoe burying, makes for a more interesting life though doesn't it?

Said chair has 3 perfectly turned Queen Anne legs and the damaged one has a cylindrical shaped tin around it to stop her chewing. It looks like a beaver's had a go at it, nearly chewed right through

She never chews it while I'm there! She'll be on her rug gnawing on a nylabone butter wouldn't melt...

Friends have said paint some creosote or vinegar onto the wood. I like the smell of creosote! Today I bought a deterrent spray from the Pest Shop; knowing my luck she'll probably like the taste of it!
