A poorly attended (by others) mean't only two in attendence last night, Bailey and a Boxer who should be doing level three and will when it starts.
He starts as he always starts slowly, jumping at Lynne and generally being a pest. This week a surprise was in store he got soaked by a water pistol (Bailey hates water) he was a different dog for the rest of the night.
The instructor was doing level one with bailey and where appropriate level three with the Boxer, when she asked for down/stay off lead and walk away some 50 feet with the dogs some 10 feet apart. She then said 30 seconds for Bailey and 2 minutes for the Boxer. 'Easy' I chipped in, from the seats.
Lynne looked horrified.
The challange was thrown down, £10 to charity for the longest down/stay....
Bailey is still there,

I'm just going back to collect him

Seriously, the boy done good.
At 5 minutes they called him the winner

In 2 weeks he has his level one 'Good Citizen' fingers crossed for that.
Lynne wasn't looking forward to last night a serious lack of confidence after a little incident with him last week, but he threw that performance and all is forgiven, although I got told off on the way home

The following class is agility, we were chatting while it was being set up we watched while a dog warmed up over a low hurdle, asked if were joining in (he's to young, we know) we said the little hurdle 6" wouldn't be a problem, hardly getting in the spirit, Bailey stepped over the bar stepping up the pace Bailey trotted up to hurdle and vaulted in spectacular style, stepping up the height to normal height we walked Bailey toward the hurdle, he looked it up and down stuck his nose under the bottom bar lifted his head and flipped the whole lot over
