I just want to tell everyone that Fred accepted my 1st grandchild last Dec. and things went well....1st meeting, he barked coz he sensed there was a stranger that my daughter had with her...I corrected him...afterwards he rememberd the scent of Margret and everything went on smoothly. Now he knows the name and when you say that she is coming for a visit...he immediately goes to the door....or if not he peeks at the kitchen window to see if my daughter has arrived together with the baby.

He has totally accepted her as part of the flock...even gives her the tennis ball to throw....knows when she has pooh coz he keeps om siffing her butt...telling us that she has poohed.

Thanks a lot for the advice I picked up fro this link about bringing a cloth of hers at home for Fred to smell and recognized.
