YIKES, I presume you mean clean bags in your jeans, not used ones!
I wonder if the people really intended to collect the bag on their way back, but either go a different way, or forget!
By the way, well done for collecting those bags yourself, and disposing them appropriately.

we have a roll shaped in a bone, that clips on the lead, and the other day, pappy did his business and i had ran out..but luckily there was aother dog walker who let me have a spare bag.
but i dont know about any of you lot, but, pappys poo resembles the size of horse poo.. using a crisp packet just isnt going to happen.. i was thinking of stocking up on peddle bin liners instead of poop bags. they will do the job better

Yes clean ones - ultra clean by the time they have come out of the washing machine

It makes me laugh when people ask to 'borrow' a poo bag. I'm always like 'mate you keep it I don't want that back!!'
I keep poo bags in the front porch, that way I always grab a handful before we set off. I've only run out once when Dex was poorly and did 7-8 poos during ONE hour of walking. I always said he was a little sh!tbag!

Once.
And Archie did a poo, at that.
All I could find was an old popsicle wrapper.
I can only thank God that he was only a tiny baby dog at the time. It was just after he got his last vaccination.

My bags have been through the washing machine too - they seem to be in every pocket I own. I must admit though, I am sick of seeing other peoples bags tied up with contents and then dumped. If you left it to nature it would eventually go away - left in a bag it's not going anywhere. It was in one of my dog magazines a while ago about a team that went round a park and collected them all up and hung them all on one tree to make a point. They found over 200 tied bags.
Personally, I like the "stick and flick" policy they use in some of the woods I have visited - the trees are beautifully fertilised!!!

I once took my two dogs out ,at that time we had two. I only had 4 poop bags in my pocket, which would normally have been fine. Oh no, one of my dogs had the tummy run's and I ran out of bag's. In the middle of the field, she went again. My god what do I do now, I thought. Then I remembered. I had a split in my walking boots, so as I got ready to walk my dog's. It was raining, so I put a tescos bag on my foot and stuck it in my boot. So in the middle of the field in the pouring rain, I took my boot off pulled the bag off my foot, cleaned up the poo, and prayed no-one had seen me. Hurried home. In my car down to the town, to get poop bag's and a decent pair of boot's.
