im sure i can take him any time. its a 5 min walk for me and on route to a walk i do with him so easy to take him there....

I'd get Olive spayed and the hernia procedure done. At 17 months she's mature. Every season increases the risk of mammary and uterine tumours plus risk of pyo. Unless you're going to breed from her, get her done. Then as Jude says, neuter your boy when he's older and mature.

Absolutely agree, I think boys take longer to mature anyway. Boris was 13 months old when we had him denutted, coz we were getting Tilly, + Tilly was 11 months old when we had her spayed. I would have waited a bit longer with Tilly, but she had probs with a phantom + a split season, so glad I had her done.
Pyo can take her life without you knowing its there till its too late, so I would deffo get the gorgeous Olive spayed.
And for what its worth, I sooooo love her, I'll be going through all the agony with you till she's home safe with you

ahhhh  thank you.. i spoke to vet about olive too so will be thinking seriously this week about who to do and when to do it

heres one for you.
david had day off work yesterday..i went to pick small boy up from school and left hubby half asleep watching zulu on the tv. olive loves tv. she watches its me or the dog and whole films intently if they have animals on it.. when i was out olive snuck up on the sofa while hub was sleeping. when i came in this is how i found her watching zulu and how she stayed till the film finished
