How are the dogs (and yourselves!) doing tonight?

I was a bit apprehensive about tonight, even though over the last month there have been random fireworks being let off and Olli's not batted an eyelid at any of them, I thought it would be quite different with having a concentrated amount in a shorter space of time. But I needent have worried, Olli's whinged because we haven't gone out for our evening walk yet (and won't until closer to midnight because of the eejits out there), but has been out in the back garden for a pee and really hasn't noticed the fireworks all that much. He's looked at them but it's almost as if he's just shrugged his shoulders and said 'meh' to them!

I realise that I'm extremely lucky with Olli, and not everyone is having quite an easy ride.

How are your dogs doing?

I took Ozzie out for a walk tonight, there were the odd firework going off here and there, and he never really bothered, just wanted to play frisbee! When we got home someone had a display going off quite close too us, Ozzie was pestering like mad to go out, so in the end, the kids went and took him up the road so he could watch!!

We very rarely see or hear fireworks, but this year there was a firework display about four miles away over open ground, the dogs first heard the bangs, we could easily see the fireworks, the dogs just looked interested, so we all went outside, it is a lovely night here, and we stood and watched for a while,....untill the dogs got bored

Harvey has been panting and pacing...thought he needed out so took him in the back yard and a firework went off and he raced back in
We have been trying to distract him and now he is chewing a bone and seemed to have settled

I am just glad that our old Bearded Collie is almost deaf,... he used to be terrified of fireworks, and used to try and dig his way under doors and the like,... I would think he is still scared,... if only he could hear them.....lol

Going off all around us. Bodie barked a couple of times, but after a bit of reassurance, he's ignoring them now. Currently upstairs in the bedroom, by the side of me while Im on the PC, he's tucking into a filled hoof!

Zeta is fine with any loud noises she really isn't bothered no barks or reaction and the same with my other dog.
I took Zeta out for a walk and watched the main firework display which lasted about 20 mins and had some really loud noises.

We went out to a display with the kids, and left Olli in his cage with the radio turned up loud. He was fine, and now relaxing on the rug.

Did walk his legs off earlier today, so he probably tried to sleep but was probably wondering why we had gone out and left the radio on.
