I have the Furminator and it's great on Diesel but he's a short coat, I have heard these break the coats of long coats so might not be worth getting one.....

LindaM will become famous soon enough
Well when we had a springer spaniel I bought light coloured clothes and lightish furniture. Now we have a black shep I buy darker coloured clothes and darker colured furniture.

Can't count the no of vacuum cleaners I've been through.

When they moult is awful and when they are neutered it is worse - but even worse is a house with no dog hair. So I do the best I can and have lowered my standards.

Yes, we do love them but I think occasionally we are allowed to get fed up with it too

I very rarely have to brush Sam and Kee at all,..I find if you are able to have them swim a lot then the water gets rid of loose hair,...I wish I could say the same for Jazz, sadly I cant

The furminator is a good piece of kit. Please be careful, as their are some fakes out there. We payed £42 for our from PAH, and I swear by it.
Olli is nearly one (next Tuesday), and he is a short coat. By god he moults for fun, but the Furminator, and a swim every other week helps.

Just make sure you don't over do it with the furminator. And keep an eye on his coat to make sure it isn't breaking the top coat!

Beki is a jewel in the rough
Careful not to do it too much in one place as you will irritate the skin
