Need your ideas please

We are looking at going away next year sometime with my parents and their dogs, so there will be 4 adults, 1 toddler, and 4 dogs (2 big, 2 little).

Does anyone have any good recommendations of places to stay?

With Jack being so young we'd like a chalet type instead of camping (plus my Dad refuses to camp the wuss). We'd preferably be relatively close to a beach, but also large areas for offlead running for the dogs.

So... Any ideas?

not sure where in the uk you thinking of but here in cornwall perranporth is an amazing holiday destination if you have dogs.. there are chalets on the beach which is 3 miles long and dog friendly... during the summer holidays dogs are lead restricted (new rule) but only in certain areas of the beach...outside of the holidays (which is much better as quieter of all the tourists) dogs have free run.. rockpools for playing in, amazing surf, the waterside pub on the beach for food and a small lively town walking distance from the beach with all you need from pasties to buckets and spades to supplies for the chalet... we live in cornwall but have gone there(30 miles from us) for short breaks as it so lovely... there is also a caravan park about a mile from the beach which has chalets.
