and we are all knackered lol
Boys LOVE sundays! we got up at 6.30 (yes, on a sunday. Ouch) left at 7.30 to get to training for 8.45 to start Jacks class at 9. Bless him he was so good! We 'learned' to walk nicely on lead with distractions, how to meet and greet other dogs where you work with a partner and each walk towards each other stopping shoulder to shoulder with your dogs in a nice sit while you have a 15 second 'chat' lol, the beginnings of 'away to your mat', to weave in and out of my legs and the start of spins which help with heel work and we won 'musical mats' lol! Then Jack went in the creche with a couple of well mannered dogs while JL did working trials. We are getting the hang of send aways though he is reluctant to leave me but we are winning. Totally nailed the long jump, off lead heel work, retrieve and 10 minute down stay which I am so pleased with given his previous attitude to other dogs. Nat, our instructor, was really chuffed with both of them :-) Got home about 1.30 and my dad and my sister came round to meet Jack so that meant a half hour play session then my sister and I took them for a run by the river and Jack had his first swim (was more like a wallow but nevermind you can't have it all) got back about 4.30 and I haven't had a peep out of either of them since :-) Blimmin whacked out myself actually, it took 20 mins to muster the energy to get my purse out of the car to order a takeaway!
