Our potential foster dog

I have just got off the phone with the rescue and she wants us to have Max for Christmas. Here are his details

Max | South West GSD Rescue - Rescuing and Re-homing German Shepherd Dogs in Devon and the South West

He was a stray found in London and is very dog and cat friendly. He is very underweight, long legged and has a pointy nose so he may even be a cross.
His only problems is not liking strangers in the house and resource guarding. I can work on those though and Ted is still a bit that way anyway so I am used to it.

He sounds adorable and we will take Ted to meet him just before Christmas. If they get on we will bring him home.
I am very excited but I do know that these things sometimes don't work out so I am preparing for the worst at the same time.
Keep everything crossed it will work out ok.

I know Laura, it is fatal.
Kimba has been rehomed now, but I believe she has picked up another 5 dogs in the last 2 days - all from death row. Two of which are at least 10kg underweight. The dogs are not finding homes at the moment, it seems everyone wants small dogs.
I will not plan too far ahead in case it all goes pear shaped but if he does fit in easily here, he may be staying longer, you never know.x

Good luck with that. If it doesn't work out, at least he will have been in a nice warm home for the Xmas holidays while waiting for his forever home. If it does work out, then great!

Keep us updated and upload some photos

What a kind face he has, he is lovely.

I hope Ted gets on well with him and he gets to stay for Christmas ... or perhaps a little bit longer

Had a quick peek at the others too and they all look lovely, but Kimba especially caught my eye. Brilliant to hear she has a new home.
