What do you do when....

Someone says to you, "What a beautiful dog you have."?

A ) Thank the person and then continue to talk to them for half an hour until you realise you've forgotten to pick the kids up from School?

B ) Thank the person and carry on walking?

C ) Say, "Yes, quite" and stomp off?

jesterjenn has a spectacular aura about
Depends if the other person seems like they want to chat (very very uncommon around here), but I always say thank you and smile and then feel super proud

The other day I got told my dogs were well trained because they were walking either side of the pram??? To me that isn't well trained, but I thanked him anyway lol

To have the dogs walking either side of the pram makes them very well trained. How did you do it?

I usually say thanks.

and then continue to tell them how old he is, what he weighs, all the boring details of where I bought him, how I eventually got his papers.... etc etc until they are sorry they even spoke and avoid me every time I come in sight ever after.

See I don't, as it's a daily thing for me I suppose I'm just used to it

They're on lead, so they're just put either side and told to walk lol

It is very sweet though when Jess and Harls are playing ball in the park, and if I go an get a ball that's away from the pram, Jess'll take her ball and go and stand by the pram until I'm back bless her

The reason I ask is because I was out with the children and saw a man with a beautiful GSD and said to him "What a beautiful dog." "Yes, quite" was his reply and stomped off!!
