A Christmas Gift

Always feel better when we've given to charity to help in anyway we can.

A cheque from my family was sent to the Acorns Children's Hospice yesterday and new doggie blankets, dog food wet/dry, large sack of mixer biscuits and some toys were taken to our local Blue Cross Rescue Centre near Bromsgrove to offer those less fortunate than our own two some comfort.

Always find this time of year a little upsetting, it just seems more poignant to all who are alone and to those of us who have lost special friends.
God Bless Brandy Lou Lou, and to all those who have crossed the bridge.

Anyhow, Merry Christmas to all members and visitors, stay safe.

We took a sack of various dog treats to the SWGSD rescue and gave them some money too.
Meanwhile, back at home another £50 in PAH for the animals but who cares?

I agree with you. christmas makes sad things even more poignant,my money this year has gone to help "ruby" as her story really touched me,but there are lots of very worthwhile causes out there..shame i am not a lottery winner as i would be happy to donate to so many if funds allowed.

A very Merry Christmas to you and indeed all members of the forum and a happy and peaceful new year
