Change of name?!

Hi all,

So I got Storm a few weeks ago and I'm not keen on the name much! I'm a person who likes unique names like, Thai, Carter, Nero etc, and the name Storm is just far to commonplace for me.

I know it's odd to change a dogs name but I'm sure he could get used to it, but basically was just wondering if anyone has any good names based on the ones above?

Ok,.. this is confusing, yesterday you posted at 10.07pm that Storm was fostered out,..and 3 minutes later at 10.10pm you post this thread

He is fostered out lol, I'm just thinking of changing his name.

Arrrh ok.... well all mine have had their name changed when we first got them, you will find that Storm will soon pick up a new name quicky enough,.. what I did, was use the two names together for a short while, `Storm, Jake come`,...then start to drop the Storm

When I got Harley, his name was Mr Mischa. What I did was just use Harley and say his name, then treat, and repeated it like crazy. Like you would a new pup.

So you have only had Storm a few weeks and you have already fostered him out?

I recently got a new dog (8 months) and I changed his name without any probs at all. I did similar to Stuart and used both names in conjunction initially and then dropped the old name.
