I need one soon. Although the dogs are realy good in the car I'd still prefer a guard up. Mines a 4x4 and we drop the back seats so they have lots of room. Plus, any mess they make is on the back of the seats, washable and being able to use the seats without waiting for them to dry.
I want one to go behind drivers seat, but everything seems to fix behind the rear seats. I don't think my 2 would be happy with the small space that would allow.

Great price. We have always used one even with our cavvie. In case of an accident it would reduce injury to your dog/s and passengers.

to me it is similar to the case for rear passengers wearing seat belt.

I got a boot buddy in the back of my skoda. I must admit it wasn't cheap, but it is bloody brilliant!!! It is all plastic material, so super easy to keep clean! And it keeps all the muck and hair in the back, even when the dogs shake!!!

It is illegal not to have them restrained either by guard or doggy seat belt! I've seen people drive down the M74 with a small dog behind their head in the drivers seat, I nearly crashed when I seen them I was so shocked!

I've got this one from Halfords - fits most cars and you don't need to worry about it being dislodged by a heavy lump flopping down when they get in the boot after a nice long walk;

Halfords | Halfords Advanced Mesh Headrest Dog Guard

Expensive but worth it :-)
