I am doing an emergency GSD foster
I'm collecting my emergency GSD foster today. Meet Rummy - he's 11 years old and meant to be an absolute sweetheart.

Well he is a sweetheart but he has really bad arthritis and possible DM. He's now on metacam and will be on pentosan injections tomorrow.

I'm sorry to say I think he may be going to rainbow bridge in the not too distant future. His saggy back legs, breathing and other signs remind me of Harry and Arch and Ella-Bella I think he has a tumour - still he will be fussed over and pampered until that time comes.

He has hardly any teeth and is deaf and his eyesight is failing.

He's come to the right place. He's had a nice piece of steak already (had to give him something so he'd take his metacam and you can't give them metacam on an empty stomach) and you all know I'm veggie.

Addie has accepted him which is a huge relief.

I'd also guess his age as being more like 13 or he's had a hard life

I'll post some more pictures later.
