What a very brave story and a lovely one. Good for you for putting it out there. Our dogs do so much for us and it's nice to hear such a story as yours.

Thank you to everyone who has posted, it means a lot
Stuart, I knew Sam was your monster haha, it doesn't surprise me to find Blitz isn't much smaller. I'll see if I can post some more pictures of him today. He is quite broad I agree. I think he still looks like a puppy haha but I could be biased x

From the photos I have seen of Blitz,..if we were to put the two together I am sure Blitz would look the bigger because he is a broad lad,.. Sam is tall and lanky

Thanks guys.
Can't tell you how much your positive and supportive messages mean, I give Blitz extra belly rubs each time I see we have had even more reads because I know that he could possibly help so many others through that post xx

I enjoyed reading your blog Lucy. My husband is depressed plus and has been for many years. Lukey puts a smile on both our faces although we relate differently to him.
I swear this shep of ours has a sense of humour.
I love your dog, he has a kind face.
I hope you continue to 'improve' makes you sound like rising dough but it seems Blitz got a good deal too
I like the last pic in your other post where he has come to see you in your chair. He looks huge. Lukey does this and comes and has a peer into your face often to say he needs the loo and doesn't know how else to say it - we eventualy 'get it'.
