Lynn I think you might be looking at the wrong dog lol
When I showed the page to my kids they thought Rex was the stunning gsd lying on the grass and they were very excited. But Rex is the rather sorry looking one after that, in a kennel. (Kids are still excited though! and I'm sure with a little tlc Rex will be just as beautiful as the other dog!)

Thanks Lisa the rescue are having some problems with the transport company due to the size of the crate they had so they're busy trying to get another one, so Rex unfortunately still isn't with us
