Aw Bless ya Tracey, thats about normal for a ickle pup, Just try not to encourage the playing at that time of night, hard I know, just take him out and settle him back down then go back to bed

They are like little babies really and dont quite understand that night time is for sleepies altho it is daylight by 4am so i guess they think it is time to get up. As Sarah said just take him out for his wee and then pop him back in his crate and take yourself off back to bed. It wont last for long (even if it feels like it does)

lol....little devils aren't they! I agree with Sarah try not to encourage play and I found if I avoided eye contact with Diesel he'd think I was still asleep

Tracey Tye will be a big boy before you know it lol, but at the time you are knackered haha, i can remember Dalton being ickle, and walking around with bog eyes, big black circles underneath them haha, god love him.
But i blinked and he was huge, But you love them so much even with lack of sleep, bitten jeans and this precious bundle demanding so much time, but it get easier and things improve quickly.
Relax and enjoy your beautiful little gift, lerts face it you can always come on here and have a moan, we have all been there so understand that its not really moaning, its releasing as i like to call it lol.
Have fun and keep us posted on all Tye's little antics ha ha
xx

Hi Tracey.
Yes this is something which we have been through & can sympathise greatly with you.
For me personally, my 2 were fed at around 5 ish on a night, then they slept for a couple of hours, next it was party time for an hour, after that they flaked out, at around 10 ish I took them them up to my bedroom where they slept for the night in a big crate together.
The first month was the worst, James & I were often up in night cleaning out the crate, lol. I did struggle with the lack of sleep too.
This is the first time which I have used a crate, my previous dogs always slept in the utility room. But this time round I tried the crate idea, & never looked back, it was the best thing I ever bought. I dont use the crate anymore, it was just while they were little & they both loved it ,I made it into like a den by drapping blankets over the top & down the sides.
Anyways Tracey, I wish you all the best with your little man, he must mean the world to you hun.
Jenny
