He went on to mention that when they select a police dog they look for a more flat back level with the ground? does this make sense to anybody?? and if so where do I start looking for this type of GSD?
I hope this makes sense and all feedback will be much appreciated

Hi Marcus
Here is an example of Police Breeding
METPOL BREUSE GLEN Hip Score 19/28
METPOL BREUSE HEATHER Hip Score 10/11
METPOL BREUSE JESSE Hip Score 34/32
all out of same litter Sire METPOL TOTEM 9/2 Dam METPOL LASHER
as you can see the sires hip are more than 4 points difference between L and R uneven hips produce uneven hips and high scores, ask Jo who runs this site her dogs sire is 2:7 and her dog is 24
Just because the guy is a dog handler does not mean he knows anything about breeding or genetic health conditions.
